Soprano Vera Hiltbrunner, born in Bern, Switzerland, is a versatile young artist who performs a variety of styles, which include classical, early, and contemporary music as well as opera and non-classical music; currently she is studying the art of Yodeling, always curious and driven to broaden her horizon and to dive into possibilities as a vocalist.
She enjoys a wide and various range of artistic collaborations and has collaborated with ensembles, theaters and festivals from all over Europe; such as Berner Symphonieorchester, Bühnen Bern, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Wien Modern, Ensemble Phoenix Basel, TNLOS Theater Nordhausen, Die Freitagsakademie, Kammeroper München, Supplements Musicaux, Ensemble Grenzklang, Opera2day and SoloVoices.
Vera is a passionate entrepreneur, innovator and inventor of stories, artistic leader and project manager.
The singer has additionally dedicated herself to a new genre of art and now regularly performs as a Slam Poet and Storyteller on various stages in Switzerland and in Amsterdam (e.g. at the Mezrab, Casinotheater Winterthur, That's Finta*tainment).
